Akai mpd26 looping in ableton live

Sup,

I've recently got an akai mpd26 and ableton live 8 and want to set up a system where I can drum a loop on the mpd26 and have that looping then play a few synthloops and have that looping and then drum another loop and have that looping onto etc etc.

I'm quite new to all of this so I don't know where to begin. Could some one point me in the rite direction?

I barely recall anything about ableton by now, so sorry, I no longer remember. Session view is where it is at for this, and you just need to figure out how to jump to the next track create a clip and record into it. Not so hard, I think.

I've been told that ableton's manual is a really good read. Better than most manuals out there.
