the sugar-bytes Wow plug-in is really sick. has a mean bite, alot of control, and my favorite: it can be triggered by the input signal i.e. it can start at the same point of the wobble without automation, no matter when it is played. ableton Live's autofilter can't do this for instance.. which is retarded. I mean... seriously. Wow does take a bit of work to figure out, and get the sound you want, but when you're done you can make sure that particular dynamic at that particular point doesn't sound textbook.

camel phat is fun too though cuz of how easy it is to adjust frequencies. Sound quality lacks a bit.

I found the best plugins for this happens to be the ones in logic pro that i already had. I realized this after a month of searching.

Most filters can do this - the stupid ones can't (and that includes ableton's autofilter, god it annoys me!)

I find it odd how companies can make blatantly obvious decisions (or lack thereof) in a product.

I'd also like to add to the list Volcano 2. By far the best filter plugin I've used. It's power and modulation is unparalleled. That goes for all fabfilter's plugins, actually.

It is a properly retarded filter. Properly fails at what it sets out to do.
