Ahh I've found my calling.
Yeah, I made another topic, I'm just trying to look for some dubstep that includes polyrhythm hard guitar Meshuggah type stuff.

If anyone knows of any, be sure to post :D

Yeah, I think that's why I fell in love with it so fast and can't stop listening to it.
But I still haven't found any that includes heavy power chords, or really any guitar at all. The only thing I find is mixed up and it's just not very good. (Although I loved the remix of Smells Like Teen Spirit).

I was a huuuge metalfan only a few years ago. Haven't read the entire topic, but i probably haven't missed any of the bands mentioned here. My interest in metal has changed now, i've gone from death metal/metalcore/deathcore and such to more melodic things as Isis (rip), Between the Buried and Me, Amenra, Deftones,... Still enjoy party metal though. Mostly for partiez. (duh)

I'm a huge fan of post-hardcore and deathcore. Just starting to get into dubstep really from those...
But the sickest bands are definitely

Missing In Maryland
Bring Me the Horizon (EP and first CD)
Asking Alexandria
Greeley Estates (Newest CD)
Jamie's Elsewhere

Sick bands for real.
