Who else gets an assignment at their office, knocks out the data entry bullshit that nobody else can seem to handle in about 20 seconds, then spends the next 45min staring intently at DSF threads... trying to appear as though they're still workin'???

:A:

Lol @ the morons here who think I'm a prodigy because I turn around worksheets in an hour, when in reality they took 5 minutes tops.
I come off as an irreplaceable tech guru, just because of how clueless my manager is... i'm not even that great but I guess I'm a bit geeky. One or two Excel shortcuts, functions, and autofill.. done. :H:

Maybe i shud eat more acid n make it interesting :6:

This sounds just like me! I'm done all my stupid work in a matter of minutes only to have the rest of the day browsing forums and listening to my ipod. It gives me so much extra time to read and learn about production stuff while i'm at work. The dangerous part is that it gives me so much extra time that by the time I get home and sometimes I don't even feel like producing anymore because i've already spent so long on the computer.

What i'm looking for is printable manuals or lessons on stuff like eqing, compression or mixing techniques that I can print off. That way I can sit at my desk and read something while not staring at the computer screen. I've found a couple useful manuals and stuff, ( I even read most of the 500 page Ableton manual) but i'm looking for more.

My daily life, summarized. I work at a publishing co/production house, and basically have to work the office manager gig/take care of bullshit that arises while squeezing in moments with the boss for my apprenticeship... which never seems to happen frequently enough. So i get home at night like damn what am I eating for dinner, where is my blunt and fuck producing, I'm going to sleep. Eyes hurt...

Another thing i tend to do is leave out portions of data so I can be asked to include them later in the day. Breaks things up some, and ensures I don't get fired because I'm needed at least twice instead of once every so often.

Dubstep night over in South Wimbledon last night was awesome, feeling a bit worse for wear this morning though. Thankfully have day off, so going to have a morning smoke, then head down to get my hair cut.

Then a lazy day of burning CDs ahead of my gig over in Angel tonight. Hard fucking life.

Ah dude, that sucks re; the pay rise. Just got a 6.5k bump at my place since my promotion, so probably not going anywhere for a while tbh haha.

So far this morning, have dropped the missus off at the station as she's going to Spain for the week, smoked a spliff on my balcony, had a haircut, sank a couple of pints in Wetherspoons and now thinking I should get cracking on this CD burning thing.

wtf that sounds like my dream day (although there prolly woulda been a few more spliffs in there LOL). I got up 6.30am, got ready, grabbed a maccys break on the way to work. sat here like a lemon for a bit. then bam audi A8 demo showed up. Its a gem :P. Not the quickest engine mind but its got the IR camera in the front, shows an IR pick between the clock on the dash. awesome. 10" monitor pops up out the dash with your sat nav. 4 different colours of hand stitched leather in it.mmm not a bad drive either, bit of a tank though. I shall be taking the new audi A1 out at lunch :P its only a 1.6tdi but its like a 120bhp diesel fiesta lol shoquite nippy.
My company car is only an astra 1.9cdti. But looks like i might get bumped to an sri this time round if i can afford the tax hehe.

DJing a private party over at Embasssy Bar from about 6 onwards. I've been told there is an open bar so will be taking full advantage.

What I would give for an open bar....Since being in London I have been paying £3.60 a pint at most places, on top of converting from $ while doing an unpaid internship :u:
