Tbh, I dislike both tunes. Voted for tune A though, it was slightly better imo

imo the emotions evoked by Tune A were relatively flat in comparison to the emotions evoked by Tune B, which I found more uplifting.

B had better bass. Both had their strengths and weaknesses. Loved the samples in tune a but prefer the feel to tune B. Was a close call but I voted B.

A really close call that, after 2 listens each I'm going to have to give it to B.

Although I loved the flutes in track A, the snare panning (or ping-pong, whichever it was) really spoiled it and some of the synths were a bit flat, some decent sample work as well though.

Track B isn't amazing, but the mixdown is much more solid, the beat patterns and synths are more in line with my tastes and it feels a more cohesive track.

Not much in it though, and no disgrace to the loser - good battle guys

deadly -"believe me i could churn out tunes 24/7 for the dancefloor that would sound good"

sorry mate but I really dont think either of the tunes are good enough for you to be that condescending towards "churned out" club orientated dancefloor tracks.

Voted B.

Even though neither of the songs are Dancefloor bangers. I still think the thread served its purpose. Now we ALL know that VERY dancable music doesn't come easy. I've heard a lot of producers stand up when they want to make something a little more uppity. My chair is much too comfy for that, and I can't sit still anyway so I just bounce in my chair.

yeah that wierd panning snare thing on tune a was a real spoiler for me and the wobble seemed abit unfinished

but im actually really feeling B

no disrespect to the loser i could only wish to produce something this good in 48 hours :L

Even tho the mixdown isn't that great I went for A, tbh i quite liked the panning snare, and i found it's sound design more appealing than B's.

You've both failed to make a club style banger :\ I declare you both losers.

Your voting system fails.

A> Not all of us wanna download them.
B> Too scared to take credit for your stuff?
C> Not everyone wants to download them.
D> Noteveryone even CAN download them.

-w-

All the tunes, in the history of tune battles, have been on soundcloud. Now that two decent producers are battling, I cant hear. gutting.

i think its less about not taking credit and more about avoiding people to vote for a tune based on the fact they're friends with one of the contestant but i could be wrong

I think it should be anonymous, as it is now, even if it is upped to soudncloud it should be done without names, adds an extra level of tension :)

:/

Chord sequence in B sounded like it was trying to hit that 'epic' atmosphere but just seemed to miss it for me, plus the voicing of the chords didn't really do it for me, sounds kinda naff I thought, plus it just kinda seemed like 5 minutes of the same thing to me too, percussion and bass progression was pretty solid mind you.

The atmospheres in A are much more on point, the tune sounds much more like it knew what it was meant to be doing. All the little rises in the background and the work on the sample is good I think, there's a wobbly lead synth I think could have sounded a bit darker. Percussion is just as appealing as Bs really, although probably lacks the same degree of variation.

Production value in both is good, but not great, all in all A gets my vote.

Don't think you'd see either tune on a dance floor mind yew.

And yea, it should be left anon I think, you should really be tell each producer apart by their work anyway, if you're familiar with each already that is,...
