Not much or even nothin' :S
then maybe its time for you to learn, instead of jumping in making a "banging filthy dubstep bass" straight away.

trust me you have a long way to go, so be prepare to be patient.
& How would I learn without a teacher or tutorial videos?
Help me getting started please.
Do you REALLY need to ask that question?

Why have you no tutorial videos? Can you not access Youtube? Tons of good videos for shitty 'filth' sounds on there, incase you didnt know. The 24 hours you've wasted on here waiting for the secret formulas to appear couldve been far better spent researching.

Fuck me, the answers you seek are splattered all over this forum, absolute treasure trove here mate.
Oh thank you very much,
darn you're soo nice & friendly I'm sure you have lots of friends.
& read the quote?
He said: Don't start with making a banging filthy dubstep bass straight away.
Now shush it if that's all you can say. It's not really helping. Thanks.

Shush?? You ask where to get started because you havent any tuts, i tell you to go to youtube, so you decide to insult me.

If my message seemed a little blunt, its because i see this exact say thread allmost everyday on here, if you had bothered to use search you'd have seen that for yourself AND found the answer to your question.

So erm, shush

Edit, dont expect people to queue up tp help you on this, i'll give you a clue as to why coughcoughstickycough

Just because you see this thread everyday doesn't mean you should be so unfriendly,
& if you call that insulting, oh please, mind your words will you?

I was being honest, i asked if you really needed to ask the question because with a little bit of simple research you can find the answers easy, i was genuinely enquiring if you cant access youtube as its the most obvious place to go when looking for tutorials.

Given the nature of this thread, i think ive been very friendly, considering the content of other threads like this, you've gotten off lightly so far. :D

But thats clearly a matter of opinion.

Look people won't find the time to help you if you can't find the time to search the forums first.

Search using the search bar in the top right. If nothing then use the google DSF search.

If nothing then post a thread. That's why I haven't posted many threads but have learned lots.
Trying to get on MTV is like trying to be employee of the month at McDonald's.

That's the perfect wording, I might even sig that, I need to remember it to say in threads like this in future.

On a side note I'm just upset my story hasn't gotten more rave reviews..

your completely new, so dont expect to me making any tracks at all, or atleast of decent quality, just take your time and learn.. learn the DAW your using inside out, learn how to create sounds from scratch, I honestly cant believe you said how are you supposed to learn without videos or a teacher...... do you do anything else yourself in life? im sure just like me theres lots of homeproducers here who taught themselves from scratch.

edit:

also if this is your thing.. music production that is, you'll enjoy learning it and have no problems getting through it.. ofcourse then theres alot of people who can help you with more specific questions

im also in no way trying to be mean

Everytime i see a thread like this, i cant help thinking its comparable to sitting in a kitchen with a bunch of knowledgable chef's, surrounded by 1000+ recipe books ranging from cooking for dummies to advanced french cuisine, then blurtting out "CAN ANYBODY TELL ME HOW I COULD GO ABOUT MAKING SOME TOAST??"

Or something like that -w-

Google is your friend. No, really.

And for the third time: Why do people need to make these threads!?! :u: Me, along with 98% of other people on here didn't need their own thread for when they started out...

Tutorials are the best thing like..ever. and they're free! you can't beat that. so...go watch some and just practice. from there, its just practice, time, more practice, and more time.

still remember the time where there was no youtube, no dvds, no hype on basement production... how do u think we did???

we just spent millions of hours on what we thought would work.. whatsoever.. pressing any button..

thats what u need to do.. and even when ur gonna get good at it.. its the mindstate ur gonna want to keep ...

push the buttons, press the keys...

and for gods sake read the stickies..
