web browser..

Post by amidoinitrite » Sat Dec 11, 2010 7:20 pm

what web browser do you use?

I've been using Flock.. I have no idea why.. but today a page wouldn't load so I opened up safari(for the first time in well over a year) and safari was a lot faster.. wtf?
I have all my favorites saved on here so it would blow to switch.. but I'm kinda thinking about it
..and plus I like to switch things up..

soooooo... opinions on browsers?

I've tried Google Chrome awhile back and I had nothing but problems with it.. maybe they fixed them all by now!
;)

Chrome because it's more streamlined to me, more space to see websites. Most of the better extensions support chrome now, and I've had no stability issues.

One of the things I love most is when something like Flash crashes, the browser stays open so you don't have to restart it, just refresh or leave the site. The thumbnail homepage thing is nice too.

A good improvement of Chromium I think.

Also, Firefox has an incognito mode as well, or maybe it's an addon, but I've used it.

chrome - AFAIK the only browser not to be hacked by anyone.

there's quite a few things from chrome in the latest FF version because both are open-source so they can take stuff from one and implement it in the other.

Haha in the 90s when I was a kid, for a while I used 1 IE window and one Netscape window at the same time because at the time I did not know you could open multiple browser windows... ah, the days before popups and ads. I miss them.

chrome is the fucking tits

internet explorer speaks for itself, firefox used to be my favorite but it became bloated and a memory hog, flock is pointless, opera is awkward, and chrome is fast, functional, clean, and efficient.
