Production name

Post by wintEh » Mon Dec 13, 2010 10:30 pm

Hey!
I've recently started producing dubstep and I'm trying to think of a production name, as the title says.
I can't decide though, which one I want.. I've read the allready existing thread but I only come up with a couple of decent names and no name I reall stick for.
Please guys help, I've got a list of the names I've come up with.
Oh and btw, my IRL name is Jack Leis, if it is any helpfull :)

So, the list:
Captain Abomination
Winteh
Abomin8
Perisher

Not a long list and I'm not completely satisfied with the names I came up with, please someone help me!

Serously though, people dont normally tend to help much with this subject, should be down to you to find something you either like, or has personal meaning to you.

Yeah this ^
i think its better to wait for a name to find you than worry about finding a name.

Tbh, all music I've done has been easier than the finding of a name. I mean the music is fun to make and so on but I cba to put time on finding a name.
And it bothers me, because in this world and this time you can't be anything without a good name.

Thats rubbish, sorry but it is.

If you wrote amazing music, but you're name was Trevor The Barry or some shit, you think people would ignore you? Doubt it.

Get a thesaurus, and keep finding cool words, writing them down each time until you have 2 of those words that sound great together.

Thats my best advice
