@rmonik thanks for the feedback :) your track, remote shows all the aspects of a good tune, i just feel in time you will become better and more unique, i liked from 1:22 when theres no drums and the build up coming up 2 the drop after, try adding a sub underneath or something 2 beef up that bassline

@debaser1 thanks for the feedback, i agree the mix is shitty aha, thats an area i still need 2 perfect; your tune impressed me quite a bit actually :) i love the synthy thing over the top of the bassline, breakdown part and the 2nd drop, oh and nice cowbell :)

@topmo3 ahaha i dunno wat to say about the top 40 comment, im just glad theres a bit in it you like :)

cheers again for those who posted feedback, no-one gave their opinion on my drumstep one however, ill post it again so people can tell me what they think

- Imperial: Not at all into the idea of drumstep, but liking your track. Got the feeling you could 'power up' those basses abit more. drums coming through nicely so yeah just work those basses :)

- topmo3 : tune's good just bit too empty imo. Good drums n sub but yeah some pads or tiny leads/stabs/hits don't hurt

- Debaser1: I'll focus my feedback on your mixdown, first off your high hats are waaaay too loud, turn em down. also some of your leads (right before 2min) are way upfront aswell, i'd put em more in the background. Rest of the tune is very original imo, liking what you did with the melody etc...

- RmoniK: sorry to say man but production level of your tune isn't really high. Esp the sounds you're using need to be fuller, and the whole of your tune needs to stick together better. Also again, it's pretty empty and could use pads/leads/stabs/hits.

Worked on this one on headphones, mixdown still has to be done but this is the raw product:

Much appreciated man, I'm on a shittyy system here at home so mixdowns are generally poor and difficult. Glad you appreciate my creative direction though :). I'll follow you on the cloud.

As for your track I was shocked and amazed. Very Skrillex and Flux ish. Mix sounds not far off (through my sennheisers anyroad). But yeah, this sounded pro to me :)

@ imperial

I think the kicks could punch harder. But the drum line is fantastic. The lead synth sound is also sweet. The lead line is nice and musical, but not too out there, so a good balance. I like it. I really like the synth at the outro too. Fits well.

@ filthstift

The drum intro is awesome, but feels disjointed from the actual track. Samples are good. The 8 bit style synth is pretty damn cool too. I think the spaces in your track are a little big though, but that's really just personal opinon.

@ reignz

Sounds fantastic. Stereo image is full and interesting. Kicks have punch and presence. The drop is huge. Love it. Love the bass synth sound you've got too. Seems to be the popular option, but it's used creatively.

@ debaser

Likin the piano intro. The mix seems to be a bit rich in the upper mids/treble though. But yeah, shitty system as you say, so not doin too bad. In terms of comp, I'd wait to bring in the higher pitched synth and the piano until a little later rather than bringing it all in at once. As it stands, there isn't much room to move without changing synth sound or melody. But good work!

Soundcloud

Claps are too trebly still. But fixed up some of the earlier issues. This is technically my second 'finished' track. It's certainly a big departure from making and mixing post hardcore.

@Filthstift The song idea sounds pretty sweet, but i feel the transitions need to be brought together some more
, i like the rythm though :)

@reignz Love the intro, stereo high pitched synth is sweet, and the drops including the first measures-awsome, rub a dub :)
honestly nothing really wrong, but i feel could have been a little longer, maybe included some different variotions with the extention

@Elsonido both the tracks you have up(wasnt sure which one you were inetntionly puttin up for feedback) sound good-the vibe on
fish fingers is beautiful-i feel underwater are certain points. pharmacetic kind of has to much air up though, meaning just the bass could be tuned down
a step and give more of that lowend feel, unless thats what you were aiming for(the high end)-if it was, keep it as is XD-or maybe mix and match
the low and high, give more variance :P

@snellvillian7 i like mix n match between some of the old style dub and new filthier stuff
im sure hearing it in a proper fat system, the subs would fill the room tight XD-maybe turn the hihat down, just a tad
just a small notch and snare up just a bit-maybe little more lash to it to differientiate between the hats and snare

My new single I have out-lemme know whats up XD-Free 320 download btw

Not sure which track you're asking about. If you're talking about my Blue Planet track you can download the 320 right off soundcloud. All the tracks I have up on my soundcloud you can download, and all of them are uploaded at 320. I think the only ones that aren't downloadable is a new one I just put up called On the Run that's not entirely finished, and a couple remix tracks that I haven't gotten the ok to put up for download yet.

@NeyeKON - wobble @ the beginning has a very loud high pitched sound which is not very pleasant (to my ears at least...)... chorus is neat. melody is cool.

@Snellvillain7 - 1stly, I think you should build up your tune, meaning make it progress... I get the feeling its "going in the same spot". besides it sounds good, samples are cool.. you should make it longer though! :)

@ElSonido - like it very much.

A tune i've put on Works in progress, which, I think, is now finished, so there you go: (still not able to make it sound loud though... baaah :( )

That squeak needs to be mixed down, but the lead bass lines are sick. Try finding a compressor plugin (like Stillwell Bombardier) to increase density, or spring for something like Izotope Ozone (very good stuff) which will basically take production capability from average to pro. Fantastic levels of control over volume, dynamics, frequency response, blah blah blah.

Why isn't this guy banned yet? If you gonna steal basses atleast make sure they are in the same key as the original you're remixing... retard

edit; the reason i don't post feedback to other songs is because i'm already well over my 3 song feedbacks for this song. I give a lot of feedback, just not in this post.

@ Imperial - Something very wierd going on with the stereo imaging on this one! Try placing each individual sound separately frequency and imaging wise! Punchy though!

@ Filthstift - I like the riff, aggy and driving but not in your face. SOme of the perc is too loud though, try bringing out the midrange on your synths a bit more!

@ El Sonido - Really nice wobble man! Really DZ style! and loved the dubbed out techy organ sound. Work on the drum sounds! Get some punchier samples! Whole track sounds a bit wide! Can hear the kick coming through far too wide - Keep it mono! Work on the drums - would def play out otherwise.

@ Fatach - Again punch your drums up a bit more, try ading a pure sine for your sub. Cool ideas though.

Been working on this.. Feedback much appreciated

Mix isnt great yet..

rhek, epic tune mate. Can i download it somewhere? I really like a lot. Haven't got a lot to say about it really, it's just awesome. You'd better wait for a pro (which i clearly am not) to point you out some minor subtle flaws.
