Fucksake, Narrator was kind enough to give you a detailed description of how to make the patch yet you still want to do nothing and get a preset sent to you. Some people are beyond belief.
Yeah that's pretty much where i draw the line myself.
it would be one thing if someone asked for a patch to a generic "Electro House" bass preset, It's not like there's a great supply of info out there on Skrillex basslines..
Fully with you there mate. You've given a text walk through, which is more than most people would've done.

Put simply, some people are too lazy to become decent at producing music.

I thought i was doin a good thing putting it in text, where people can go off on a tangent and experiment resulting in another badass sound instead of just copying off the screen.

Wow I think some people have got the wrong end of the sick.. I'm not demanding anything, it's just a general plee, killing two birds with one stone on this thread.
I'm giving out presets myself, so take it easy... I'm not just take take take.

any questions??
:
just did all of these instructions, 3 questions
1. whats the point of send/returns 1 and 3? they don't seem to be that different from the main sound so they don't add that much but just make it pointlessly louder
2. whats the point of putting the cmt bitcrusher on default cause it doesn't change the sound at all at all
3. what ways do you suggest hooking the mod wheel up to so I can make it more dynamic?

1) Sends 1 & 3 is for 100% wet chorus signals with one brighter and fuller than the other (return 3) to give it that metallic wideness covering the spectrum but not have any effect on the meat of the sound.
2) CMT on default slightly colours the sound if you change the distortion types, especially if you filter on the end.
3) I'd suggest routing the phaser and the p shaper to a macro which gives it a nice morphing effect if you mess around with the polarity to get some sort of difference first
other than that you could try automating the filters, f1+f2 faders, pitch envelopes etc. it all makes a difference to the sound.

I tried to recreate this as reading your instructions but I cant seem to get decent movement modultaing the filters on massive. I get rumble when I sweep around lower frequencies...

Well I kind of made a Skrillex bass from Scary Monsters but it's not all that impressive.

Think you could have a go Narrator?

Kes-Es. That's not the point and we're not on this thread to discuss it.

Being the slightest bit clever doesn't save you from being a lazy mug, just thought I'd point that out.
