those sound effects are programmed in at really cool parts. ive heard basslines like that before. only thing i would do is maybe play around with different notes. that vocal sample could be a bit louder too

Soundcloud
this track is dirty. i would try and break up the beat between your samples occasionally, give it emphasis for that half bar that it plays or w/e. cool tracks tho ima start following

dude i love the way you broke it up after the drop that was pretty sick
i'd make that synth that echoes before the intro a little bit louder..

Ok. But come back later with fresh ears and new tricks up your sleeve. Always helps my creativity to start a new track. Sometimes you come back, most times you don't, but either way, I figure the best thing is to always be writing.

nylle-this sounds so pro man! the snapping fingers give it something organic. the bass is smooth yet dirrrtttyyyyyyy. amazing sounds i like it a lot i cant think of anything i dont like about it. EDIT:sorry i was stoned yesterday while writing. here is something more constructive. i think the beginning is a little long im waiting for something else to happen but it never does?? other than that i keep my statement above!

breakmonster -its a little repetetive maybe? the wooshes are a little loud. sounds like you need to mess with the levels a little. overall it sounds like you got your own flava. good shit :m:

RAVE-i do not normally listen to music like this, but it doesnt sound like you have any bass going. but my speakers are low because its late so i dunno ~.~
sounds like some rave music tho! haha

heres mine,

@brex: you def know what you're doing... i actually like how you use the silence before the drop, way more intense! my only suggestion is to maybe turn up the kick a little... other than that, i can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the track, maybe a crazy b section?

@sprayyypaint: STRUCTURE! :e:

as for this new track i'm working on... i have hit a brick wall, any advice would be of great help... i just don't know where to go with the track. the drum pattern is pretty generic right now and the drop is almost non-existent - once i figure out whether completion of the track is justified i'll be putting some time into these sections

@Protea some cool stuff you got going on there, some nice effects, nice bass towards the end there, love it. Wasn't so keen on it at the start, but started getting in to it as it picked up!

@sirminus Feeling your track man! Sick! I just feel as if the build up took too long, although I can't say much, my track just sounds like one long intro xD

@breakmonster Yeah, like said, play about adjusting the levels, and try and vary it up a little. It is a little repetitive, but otherwise nice

ooh totally diggin the atmosphere in this.
the snare/clap sounds really wide and should be a little more mid-to-high range imo. would probably try changing the notes that piano plays occasionally too since that piano is pretty nice soundin'.

I'm not gonna tell you what to do, but I myself would never apologize for my tastes/expression. If others don't like it, FUCK EM. If you don't like it, change it.
