yeah im at man uni,
get to hit n run if you havent yet, line ups are normally top class and theres a good vibe in there apart from bait people (bouncers?) going round asking you for "drugs" every couple of weeks lol. (oh and some tnuc stole my hat in there but apart from that its one of the best weeklies in manchester imo)
sent you a request on fb, I'm dan. your gonna be a michellin starred chef right?

Been a few times to hit and run on my own, been to the odd justskank on my todd as well, just finding it hard to actually find people who are well into dubstep rather than just wanting to go out on the pull and nail birds. My new years resolution is not to miss any more hit and runs, I let far too much go past in the first few months and I only live a 10 minute walk from factory, so its inexcusible. Plan is to become a michelin star chef at some point, or just a rich one. Not met any assholes yet out and about, but I'm sure I'll bump into the odd one sooner or later.

The problem that I've had with going H+R whilst I'm in Manchester is that I've had full days on tuesdays and it really fucks with the programme like you wouldn't believe lol. nevertheless, I've still gone every now and again (was at the 4th birthday). That time I had to go on my ones and whilst I enjoyed myself, its still a bit annoying that I can't muster any interest in my neck of the woods

I'm not in Manchester but get across a fair bit because I've got a really good mate living there at the moment and it's not long/expensive on the train from Liverpool. Hopefully will get over to a H+R or two in the new year.

Hit & Run is backed hard. It's one of the things I miss most about not living in Manchester most of the time nowadays! They did a few events in Preston (where I live now) which were blinding but unfortunately they weren't that well attended, which is the main problem with P-Town; 90% of the people who are 'proper into dubstep' are all talk.

Ah yeah I remember a Preston event getting cancelled and as a result we got to see excision, chimpo, rush and netsky for £4. If anyone is hitting up hit and run and needs a place to plop their head, give me a shout, I broke into our spare room which has an an en suite and the stupid gits at student accomodation havn't worked it out yet.

Same offer for Preston, if H&R do any more events or if you fancy coming over to any of my smaller nights ('Hubba Dubba - Preston Dubstep' on Facebook...the name isn't my fault) get in touch; always good to have some new faces.
Also, if any Manchester DJs fancy playing in Preston get at me!
