@ rightontime27 : i like that creepy laugh on the intro. tune seems like its coming together nicely.

@ BadBoyBastian2B : diggin the vibe of this one. where are those vox from? really chill. bass sounds nice too.. i like the attack on it on the sections where it kind of delays to come in.

@ darkdubz : is that 'got it all' track your WIP? if it is. fucking head nodder. really digging it. great job.

here's my latest wip. probably as soon as i post this, there will be a January work in progress thread -r-
so i'll probably end up reposting this. feedback is appreciated. -t-

BadBoyBastion3B-Tune is super schill vox work perfectly and i loved the guitar, Lol when you're done I'll trade you wavs? my only thing is the there wasn't alot of melodic things happening with the bassline put that an just be a preferential thang.

Dwel-I wasn't really sure what you were goin for, i appreciate the attempt to incorporate the yoy sounds into a chiller setting but I don't think it worked, i like the first minute alot though

Here's my tune, tried to do a little mastering idk how it turned out

@ badboy bastian- reallu nice track, only thing i think it could do with is some switches and more elements to give it a better progression, good work tho man

@ Dwel- nice tune with some decent ideas, try strengthen your kick and snare with some eq,and generally just layer it up,good work tho bud!

@ Right on time- this isnt my kind of thing,im not huge on synths, like the ideas and originality of it. Drums could do with the odd switch but i liked it,keep up the work man

My wip is here, hope people enjoy it and look forward to hearing some feedback.peace

@ redjuan- Love the intro! tracks got some massive vibes so far.

@badboybastian- Loving the track! vocals work really well and it's all sound clean! maybe some more low end could be used though?

@Dwel-loving the chilled sound but I agree with right on time with the whole YOY sound.

I'm not writing much as this is my first post for feedback, Heres my latest WIP-

@redjuan - very cool; there is a tad much reverb on the drums for my taste but no other complaint.
@RightOnTime27 - the vocals in the beginning were kind of quiet; i got startled a bit when the song kicked in XD
@Dwel - im not sure what to make it yet but there are some interesting ideas going on. keep it up

wheres the january thread?

@Redjuan: Nice work with the synths and the reversed piano stuff, good vibe all round. Not enough bass for me though (although I think this could be an issue on my end)

@OFR: really like the intro, got a nice density to it if you know what I mean. The drop is cool, sounds mysterious. I think your kick could use a little more weight though, it sounds like a snare?! Oh and you have a click when you finish the first section after the drop at 1.48, chuck a fade on it. I could maybe ask for a little more variation, but I like what you are going for.

@Dwel: Good shit man, I like the use of the vocal filter, actually sounds good in a tune for once. Really like the vibe, and the vocal sample is killer. I would say it sounds a little thin though, I might layer up a bit of a thicker atmosphere if I was you. Good song though!

My new work in progress, still needs a proper mixdown and a master but its nearly there.
Why doesn't someone just change the name of the thread to the appropriate month and keep it going? Just a thought.

dwel: this song needs some hype... i would maybe try to build that first section to flow into the second section a little bit rather than having two random ideas one after the other... keep workin on it, im into it!

redjuan: im into the soundscape you got goin on, pretty mellow vibes... i got a little bored with it half way through though... maybe try layering in another instrument or sound?

OFR: fucken awesome intro, i appreciate how you didn't rush into the tune... the second section could def use some variation imo, maybe try switchin up the bass line?

kes-es: eerie! im into it, i think the melody could use some variation though when the bass hits

EDN: different kind of tune man, almost sounds like jazz w orchestra instruments... i like how you build up the vibe towards the end of the tune, drums sound sick

here's a track i've been working on lately... let me know what you guys think!

@ dougriley - wow that bass hits hard haha. i really like it so far, nothing to critique really.

@ EDN - i love the progression, i'm very impressed, it sounds great! i could definately have this on repeat xD the instruments sound real nice and crisp.

@ OFR - similar to what dougriley said, switch up the second section, other than that, i really like its flow.

Wel'p, i may have to repost in the January thread if its put up too soon but ah well, here's what i got workin right now. Feedback appreciated :D

@ dougriley
Sounds nice! I like it, but what I don't like is the bass drum. Sounds kind of flat.

@ Xaphex
Really dark and dirty! Nice sounds! Only thing is that some of the wobble-sounds sound a little out of grid imo.

Here's something I'm working on. Just 3 themes mixed together. Don't know if I'll keep the "trancy" part. Opinions? There are going to be vocals also on this one in the future.

@mindcontrol - i like the chilled out vibe you went for, just need a bit more percussion but its heading in the right direction

@jackalMask- i most of the tune apart from i think its the distortion and reverb on the lead line near the end needs a little worki

@FluidMoShun- nICE FUNKY vibe i like it just needs a little work on the bass and generally make everything louder and more punchy

nnny-nice intro, pretty haunting little riff i like it. nice sub, very chilled vibe on the whole track works well. only thing i could say is maybe make the piano sound slightly clear on the intro it sounds a tad muffled to me.
Dodstep-writing while listening to this, really good sense of atmosphere in the intro. That bass drop came from nowhere man i love it, was expecting a chilled out song then that midrange kicked in well done, not really much i could say to improve it, just make it a bit longer, the trancy stuff i think works well with it all.
xephex- decent intro, need to turn the pad down after the drop though it ruins the impact of the bass, other than that good track.

Well, heres the best I can manage:
