Not a preset, tutorial, or anything like that, a nudge. Like what to actually apply the LFO to so I don't lose my highs/mids.

Um yes, yes you are new at audio engineering. Why? Because I'm new (less than 6 months) and know all the answers to the shit you've asked.kuntmuffin wrote:Wow, you're about as useful as the Bungie.net forums. Forgive me for mentioning that I pay for my VST's, because thats all I ever see, is people posting problems with their crashing pirated software, only to get ripped to shreds by all the "other cool kids" here.
And you're right, if everyone could do it, they would, but guess what, they can't. None of you can. Which is why you insist on trolling these forums. What kind of a community is this?
For every good, educational post by someone like narrator, etc, I have to sift through pages and pages of bullshit... and it's fucking terrible.
How many of you use ProTools, the industry standard for audio recording, mastering, and engineering?
How many of you actually know how to master, not use mixer presets?
How many of you actually go to a real studio, with patch bays, effects processors, racks, and physical instruments?
I have respect for about 3% of the members on this site, and I was hoping while I was in the studio today, to maybe get some advice or a tip or two from one of them. But no, everyone is balls deep in Skrillex and talking shit.
*FLAME RETARDANT SUIT ACTIVATED* do your worst. :middlefinger
PS - if you don't like DSF - sod off. I came to this forum knowing absolutely shit-all about music production and in 6 months time know enough to bang out a tune (admittedly not very crisply), but I'm getting to where I want to go.
People like you piss me off - people who don't have the audacity to look around themselves and figure shit out - which is what most of the posts on your thread have been about.
Go experiment. If you can't do that - FUCK OFF.

Let me see. You go to music college, have been makin dub for 5 months and have already accrued enough money to buy ALL the vsts (or RTAS) in the world, and PTHD8.
I think its time you hire someone else to be a kuntmuffin to richboy. Or stop lying.

I suggest dropping the 'muffin' mate.
If you have been on the forum 'like forever' then you would know how things roll around here. You will get told to read stickies, you will get pointed at the production bible if it is believed the answer you are asking for may reside in there. Not getting the answer you want then going on to insult 97% of the people who might help you is just stupid to be honest.
You need to sort out that attitude man, no one is going to want to help anyone who comes across like you did bro. Oh, and:

OP - I would suggest picking a specific topic and try to discuss what your failings are and what you could do to improve. your original post does read like you're just posting up a tune asking for feedback, which is what the dubs forum is for.
I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.
