Don't knock it. My most productive time was back in the day on a beat up shitty old pc, i was banging out many tunes daily. Now i've got a fairly alright setup I've had writers block all year.

+1 I was far more creative with an old beatup laptop. Now I have far too much choice and make my music unnecessarily complex. :|

It's quite funny that everyone has these amazing big setups (jealous) and mine is simply this haha  Checkout the amazing speakers...

I still think my tracks are better than you'd think if you'd simply seen my setup without hearing them though.

ha got the same speakers, £24 = bargain. i think they're really good for the price, i've got some decent headphones now though so i only use them for normal listening and referencing.

Yeah the sub isn't bad, but they're pretty shocking to be honest. Gotta love the old HD Sennheiser headphones though ;)

well for £24 quid i actually think they excel, they are shocking in the big scheme of things but for that price i don't think anything else comes close.

Cant remember if I had already posted this. Its a little outdated, things are moved around a bit (pads are now on the right, and the whole desk/monitors are moved away from the back wall, and they have Mopads underneath them.

Those monitors are just too much sex.
What kind of density is that foam? And is it covering (as it seems to be) basically every available surface?

Well, i selected two densities, one for trapping the bass behind the speakers, its about 1/2 metre thick in a corner wedge shape, and the sides are just generic foam to cut some of the early reflections. Behind all that is a double bed whixh helps too

They are KEF Reference 103's. They were designed as hi end Hifi speakers in the mid 70's, But these are the 'reference' series used in studios.
They sound amazingly detailed, in really good Knick.
