Possible to hook up RCA cables to Logitech z-5500?

Well, I bought a Gemini CDMP 6000, it came defective so I have to send it back... But while I wait for a new one to arrive, I have a question that I couldn't seem to get a detailed answer to.

I'll try to provide as much information as possible.

This is what the RCA cable that came with the Gemini CDMP 6000 looks like:



This is what the back of the Gemini CDMP 6000 looks like as far as RCA goes:



This is what the back of the Logitech z-5500 control pod looks like:



My question is..

Is it possible to get sound from the CDMP 6000 to come out of my Logitech z-5500 speaker system, and if it is where do I plug the RCA cable in on the CDMP 6000 and z-5500?

This is the first system I've ever owned and I know nothing about RCA cables, so I'm incredibly confused on where I'd put them/if they can even work with my z-5500.

you need a phono to 2x mini jack cable. or find a convertor thing to change one end of your phono cable to 2x mini jacks.
then plug them in to the left and right outputs on your cdmp and left and right inputs of your speakers

Dosn't look like that'll do the trick, you need rca plugs by the looks of things, so a 3.5mm jack plug to rca plug.

nah, you want two rcas to two mono mini jacks.

theres separate left and right inputs on those speakers
