This. I still rinse meathead now. imo his best release by far. But all his recent stuff makes me want to rip off my ears.skotyb wrote:Flux needs to go back to his Fuckin' Noise, Air Raid days.
This tune doesn't even get close to them tunes.
All the hype artists are all just blending into one now.

Bass Cannon is actually getting a full release on 14th of March. Flux Pavilion posted it on his twitter and I talked to Doctor P and he said that its going to be released on the 14th aswell.
Re: Bass Cannon - Flux Pavilion

Re: Bass Cannon - Flux Pavilion
My only worry is that Flux is getting dragged into a bad area. I feel the majority of his tunes but for me they are 'night out' tunes. I can listen to anything by him at any time but thats just me. When he, Doctor P, Funtcase and Cookie played Bigger Than Barry in Leeds in October it went off with tunes like Bass Cannon. One of the best nights i've ever been to.
I'm a fan of some of the tunes Circus have re-done recently. The 'Badman Sound' VIP is much better than the original in my opinion and although i've only heard a crappy youtube live version the 'Got 2 Know' VIP sounds pretty decent too.

Literally the whole scene apart from the originators are getting dragged into a bad area,Moultz wrote:My only worry is that Flux is getting dragged into a bad area. When we are talking more hype tunes, all the artists have gone down hill since the Circus gang exploded onto the scene.
Skream, Trolley Snatcha, Subscape, 12th Planet, Crissy Criss, The Others, Skism, are all guilty of jumping on the hype wagon.
I'm not saying the tunes are bad, but all those artists were previously releasing slightly hypey stuff, using original sounds and ideas.
And now every one is using, noisy high frequency lfo crap, and yoy yoy boregore noises.
You've only gota compare a few tunes from the artists a year ago and now and you can see the difference.

I'll hate for ya because this tune is kinda wank. I like his older tunes though.Molzie wrote:Yeah, eh!rinseballs21 wrote:that shit hurts my ears
I'm not hating, I just don't get why all the kids are spazzing out over it.

Just a quick thought, but wouldn't one big reason they make these tunes is for nights out like? They hype the crowd because they're raw and aggressive.. I know for a fact a lot of kids are hoping on this band wagon but I think most of the top quality tunes by these cats are insane, they make a night! And a lot of them are producing all styles and nearly always have, like skream and all..

There's a difference between good hype and bad hype.Kieran-Craddock wrote:Just a quick thought, but wouldn't one big reason they make these tunes is for nights out like? And this falls well and truly under awful hype.
Good hype:
Bad hype:
...and this isn't as bad as some of the crap out there.
Ahh Skism, Rise of the Idiots/Back Off was so much better than this.
