How do you pass files on collabs?
I wanna send my ableton file to my buddy to work on some stuff. He has all the same VST's as me but...all the drum samples and snares and what not that we used at my house...is there a way like in reason you can save with all that stuff in it so when I send the file he'll have everything we worked on here?

bounce to wav, work with wav
This. I basically hate anything with that "brutal electro" sound; it sounds all like HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL

There is a collect all and save option in ableton that will self contain all parts into the songs folder. If your friend has all the samples and vst's, he should be able to open the song from within the self contained folder you sent with everything where it should be.

Can't you export the project as a .zip?
In FL you can, every collab just needs to be zipped, and opened on arrival
You could easily get the same sample packs though

There's an option to 'self contain' in reason.
Go to "File", click, "song self contain settings", then click the "check all" button, press "ok" and then "file", "save".
All the samples you've used should now be contained within the project file, so you can send it on as is and he shouldn't have any problems on the other end.
