@estondo -so cold is really sick! really like the intro synth glitchy type line. the bass line stands out a bit in the mix but not too an annoying degree. than I tried on that new new and thought my speakers were going to blow at the drop. you need to pull that bassline WAYY back. dancefllor dubstepaa could be dope if the bassline
didn't sound completely blown out.

@Kazadubstep -holy shit your tracks are way too on point. sounding so good. what synth did you use for the line on the first one in your sig? they gettin released? because they should

@hyperianuk really likin the sounds in machete love letters. i feel like the formant bass sound comes in weird in the mix in some spots though. '

I'm new to the board. I've been comin here for probably the past year though. I mostly produce house and hip hop, mainly everything but lately i've been working on dub tracks and doin fast electronic hip hop remixes with dub inspiration. I have a new dub track I made and a new hip hop track. could use some feedback especially on the hip hop one. thanks.

@Hyperianuk
Machete Love Letters - Ha, funny 8 bit sounds :P
Paramore - Not sure if the melody really fit with the vocals at the drop, really liked the break at around 1:24 though
The Veronicas - Somethin i could see being used for a car chase lol - Interesting :)

Liked them :) I got a "Electrostep" kinda vibe. IMO all I could spot was the synthesis could use abit of cleaning up that was about it. Kinda reminds me of skrillex a little. Keep at it, developing your own style :)

@Estondo

So Cold - Liked the melody on the 2nd drop and the synth you used in the back of the bassline. Only thing that stood out was the mix down.The track would sound much more clear and clean when its remastered IMO.

On That New New - Super cool chilled vibe right away. The mixdown once again stood out. The drop hit hard but I think you did too much of a DB gain cause your track to clip your track very hard.

Dancefloor Dubstepa- Some nice gliching in there. Mix down could use work again as well. But I did enjoy the drum and percussions :)

Overall good stuff man, Just work on those mixdowns, would love to hear where you're at in the future!

Appreciate the comment man. And yea i gotcha, meant the "break/part" (whatever ya wanna call it xD) after the drop :P Good work though, def. will keep checkin ur stuff out in the future! :5:

@Candy Cobra - Generally I use Albino 3 & Massive alot, love those synths :)
And as far as releases on them, they're both getting a release later this year! If you wanna join up at the facebook group I'll have release dates/news posted when the time comes! Appreciate the support bro.

@ Candy Cobra: Mmm, intro is a bit too long mate, and not interesting enough to nail my attention.
Odd vibes, frankly. It's pretty experimental, which is a good thing. It all sounds a bit too raw for me,
your synths need more processing imo. But keep at it! You're on the right way!

@ hyperianuk: - Love letters: Wow that drop took me by surprise, good sounds! The contrast with the cheesy
synths in the intro works pretty well. I'm not sure the nintendo arpeggio's all fit in the tune. Sometimes
they sound a bit dissonant. I could be wrong there though. Good work.

@ Kazadubstep: Screwface - Damn! Big tune! Not many succeed at making robostep, you're one of the few.
Only thing bugging me are your drums, i'd love to hear em hit a bit harder. Overall it's a big track.
Keep it up!

My latest tune. Would love some feedback :)

@TRaffikz INSANE sound man! Love the crazy build up in the intro, entering new sounds one by one, the basses are sick too!
@hyperianuk WOW! Loving all three songs, especially the paramore one! Good job on the drops, vocals and the cutting in the them! +1 on your followers mate :wink:

I've actually sampled paramore myself in a track I finished early in to the month!
Hope you like it!

Appreciate the feedback man!

@Traffikz
great synthesis, mids/highs sounded very clean, everything fit well in the mix, loved that snare. only thing i could spot was the sub levels could use some boosting. Other than that man i really liked the track. Ups!

@coughdropz
Nice mash up, spot on!

@Cibiia
Crush - Great vocal useage!! Felt the synthesis/bassline needs more 'character' and could be heavier. The kick/snare could use some more beef as well. Loved the percussion. Mixdown was nice other than the kick/snare needing some more umph and the bassline needing some sub. Good production overall my friend!

@skaven
That's why i asked you ;) Thanks for the feedback anyway :)
I understand you about the drop, but it can't make it drop on the sample because it will drop too early.
I like it this way, but maybe i need fresh ears to hear what you really mean ;)

Peace

@Candy Cobra

brain drips: could use more sounds in the beginning. the higher synth sound is cool but you've got space for more different sounds to fill in. if you don't wanna do that, you could automate some effects on the existing synth. the mid to end section is very nice, good stereo mix. i like mixes with a lot of stuff in them

wamp wamp: aahhh, such good memories of this song. again, i would just have things switch up more so its a little less predictable.

@Kaza

i'm not really into filthy stuff, but you obviously know what you're doing. both tracks in your sig are heavy, well-mixed, got nice touches to them. i cant really give u any advice except keep doing u :W: but thats a good thing. oh just saw that they're getting released, well done brotha.

@hyperian: love a good expanded mix, fuck compression! :cornlol: the melody thats mixed into the drop (that make sense?) feels a little strange to me, it adds some tension to the whole thing though. i like the southern hip hop style drum rolls, kinda Girl Unit-esque.

@Traffikz: kinda funny if you don't mind me saying so, but you pull it off nicely, the sounds match the sample in a nice way. humor is good when you're making drop-oriented stuff, it plays with people's expectations. i like how you cut between so many different sounds and make it unpredictable, it sounds professional

@ninthy4: whoa. thats some evil, evil shit. nice drums, there's actually some funk to it which must have been hard to do considering the beat is so plodding, but the hi-hats make it dancefloor capable. :5:

@Cibiia: good snare selection, feel like the kick doesn't match it super well though. ones real wet and big and the others very minimal, but i probably wouldn't notice if they weren't isolated at the beginning of the song. nice choice of acapella, it does its job well in the song. the build up to the drop is well done, not all filter sweeps up but actually has some melody to it.

@coughdrops: dubstep that actually sounds like dub? who would've thought! this is my fav track i've listened to so far. the horn sample(?) is great, makes me nostalgic. i like how u hold off on a drop until 2 minutes in, you get the sense the track is gonna go one way but then it goes another without sounding out of place at all. and i don't even like dizzee rascal, so you must have done a great job.

alright, i put a good amount of effort into those so i hope somebody actually listens to my tracks. I got 2 in my sig that i could use some comments on. The first one's on sort of a Mount Kimbie tip, the second's a pretty chilled hip hop thing. Heavy Air is the one I'd really like some advice on.

oh and I wrote my comments in textedit first, so if autocorrect did anything weird (it changes fav to cigarette for instance) i apologize in advance :4:

@Cibiia
The drop could be more powerful, I think the kick & snare is overpowering the bass, vocal is nice and fits in great :)

@coughdropz
YES! Sick as fuck! Would love a clip in high quality though

@Derange
I was amazed by the drop, all I can say, bass is sick, very Excision/Datsik style. Love it

check out my new tune, sampled some vocals by Lamb of God and made it into a completely new tune
