Gentleman's Dub Club - Emergency (Ranking Records)

Ranking Records is proud to present the first official single from Heavyweight live dubbers, Gentleman's Dub Club.

Since their conception in 2006, Gentleman’s Dub Club have gone about laying waste to a series of packed University and club crowds both in the UK and Europe. Carving out a unique style based in dub reggae, ska and dubstep, the Gents have introduced a brand new sound to audiences up and down the country. From the infectious enthusiasm of frontman Jila, to some über-powerful horn arrangements and a rhythm section made of pure British beef, the jaw-dropping GDC live experience is a spectacle that has resulted in a grinning, sweat-soaked rabble of faithful supporters.

Hot off the back of a summer festival rampage, and to celebrate the commencement of their first UK tour, the Gentleman invite you to indulge in a delectable helping of bass, beats and frantic knees up skanking!
‘Emergency’ contains all the ingredients you’d expect from the GDC: razor sharp horns, pumping bass lines, an anthemic chorus, and a groove straight from the gutter.

Somebody ring the alarm!

RELEASE DATE: 15th Nov

Roots Manuva

Out of the whole new breed of reggae and roots acts around GDC are the most skankingly wicked and always smash it live and on record…immense!”
