Yeah, some people are dicks man. I find it INCREDIBLY frustrating too when I give loads of feedback and get fuck all in return and then see someone give none out who then gets loads for nothing. Reality of the situation is all you can do about it is make sure you never give feedback to the people that don't play by the rules and always give lots out yourself. If you get fuck all after giving out lots of feedback then repost your tune, mention that you got no feedback when you posted it before and give feedback again but only to like 2 people so your not going to loads of extra effort.
Again, that's what I usually do, but this time i just lost it a bit. Seriously need to get some rules going on here man.

We do have rules, but without a mod specifically designated to keeping these threads in order theres no way to enforce them. Deal with it. Everyone else has to. :m:

I know and I usually do. But what tends to happen is that your post gets lost behind lots of 'exhibit A's' and then some people give feedback on the exhibit A's leaving your post way way behind in the thread so it stands no chance of getting any feedback :t:

Yes but it's the same for everyone. Seriously. If you don't like it then don't post in these threads. If you want feedback you have to graft for it. That's just how it is. No amount of bitching is gonna change that.

EDIT: lets get this show back on the road, if the kids wanna keep moaning someone buy them a lollipop and stick 'em in the back of the van yeh?

@Shekul - Cheers for the kind words man XD Like this. Got quite an old school rave vibe about it, dunno if that was intentional but I'm feeling it subtley in this track and it works well. Serious vibes once it drops. Percs are my high point in it I reckon. The scatty hats that come in later on are real nice.

@Hankerins - you've give bare feedback so thought I'd give you some on your other track too. Think I prefer this track, mixdown is a little clearer, I think because you've got less going on XD nice pace, good percs. Overall pretty decent. Like the bassline a lot. Original tune is a bit too much of a beast to take on though..

@NonXero - Don't like a lot of the sound design in this i'm afraid and that dubstep growl thing is too loud in the mix. Percs are real nice and so are the samples and atmosphere. Personally I would take the midrange growls down and make them real low key. A bit more lower midrange and less high end too. Like old DMZ style basslines cos at the moment the dubstep and dub parts of the track are fighting against each other. You want em to be making the sweet peen to the poon styles ya get me? Overall the track *could* be really good but I feel like your letting it down at the moment!

Alright alright it's not bitching I'm just voicing my concern, for all of us. You have to voice your opinion if you want change. I'm not gonna improve the way I want if I don't receive anything constructive back, and it's not like I've got anyone close by who can provide that. So really if I'm not gonna improve then what is the point in producing in the first place?

Add people on aim from the forums and strike up a conversation, having people you get to know well over time give you feedback is a lot more useful than these threads. Also, feedback isn't the only way you'll get better, Burial made tunes in total isolation for years and look how his music turned out!

The reason I've been so blunt with you is because there isn't going to be any change, your moaning about something that there is no solution to so it's just pointless moaning. This forum has been running for a long time and this is the best/fairest system we have managed to come up with so far. Like I said, if you don't like it, don't participate. Otherwise, bite your tongue and get used to the fact that feedback is a precious commodity.

moving along....

@paravais - solid track with some summer vibes which is kinda strange seeing your in the middle of winter lol but works nice over here (it's 26 degrees atm hehehe) only thing i'd sort out is the sub and bass, I can't hear it that much atm.

@ debaser - Nice track man. The kick needs the hi end rolling off a little so it doesn't smack up the hi end as much with the hats that are there (a little cut with a hi shelf should do the trick). Like the drop i can hear the tune get smacked when the snare/sub and bass all hit at the same time on the 3 (and is there a kick there aswell?) i'd get some side chain comp or more freq separation going on to prevent that from happening so it doesn't drive the limiters at mastering (and reducing the general rms of the track by causing a massive peak every time all those things coincide)

I have a system that works. Spend more time being strategic and thinking about how you're going to conquer your mountains, and less time dwelling on the fact that your feet ache. Your feet will grow stronger through the struggle :W:

@sinister87: Dark tune man! I'm digging the intro, tho i can barely hear the basskick! I would suggest you to sort out your drums, that would help your tune alot! Keep it up!

@ninthy4 : Sick tune mate, big up!

@paravrais very deep man, good vibe!. i love the panning you've done.I really like the sounds man big up!

This is my remix from the song 'Hello'. Nothing filthy, just a ''cute vibe'' i'd say! :)

@Krakkemikkig I love it! The midrange bass sounds great and goes great with the melody. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it, seems pretty much perfect to me, I really love it :D

So uh I recently made a Numb remix, although I'm not sure if it's completely dubstep. I'm still relatively new at music making so there are probably a few things to fix but that's why im posting here :)

@Nacklewicket - tight tune man. Nothing really wrong that I can point out. Very deep.

@stefever - Strings sounded a lil bit too high in the mix but the LP remix is nice. The Sub level might be a little too much as well. The drop bassline was pretty tight but its got the same generic massive wt modulation that you hear everywhere. Nice overall.

@Krakkemikkig - I really like the intro on this song. Nice work. Bass is cool... very jump uppy. Might wanna add another one or two in there just to give it some more random franticness

@sinister87 - Think I heard this on my soundcloud wall but its pretty cool. Sounds like sandstorm but it feels like theres no midrange.... -e- hmm

@Chewie - sick as always. Clean and tight and your basslines always impress me. nice work mate! :W:

heres my new tune comments much appreciated :)

@therook loving the vibes here man. Vocal is perfect. Deffo feeling this reggae feel!

@Nacklewicket Love listening to that synth fade in at the beginning. Not sure about the hi hats. Seem a little off to me, dno. Nice atmosphere. Drums work well. Sounds cool bro :D

@stefevr Deffo some stuff to be fixed in there, but I love this! Sounds nice at most times man!

I mean everything i say:
@TRaffikz intro was siiiick, loved the drums. sick bass. SFX details were sweet as well dude! Keep it up.

@ninthy4 no such a fan of brstep myself, but i could appreciate what you'd done with the vocals and the mix sounded nice n tight despite the distortion.

@Cibiia was a bit simple and i didn't hear any subs :( vocal sounded good amongst everything else though.

@KazaDubstep Can you please refrain from posting tracks? It makes the rest of us look nub. Sooooo huge it's not even funny. Jesuszzzz. Such nice use of filters and the mixtown is so tight it makes me jizzz.

@Derange that can't be your first track ever? Bass is siiiick. Subs are nice, how much of it is sampled?

@predator dubstep niiice. can't really say much tbh, other than keep it up, mabye EQ the snare a bit. less low i think :S

@debaser waay different. like it though, only thing i might change would be to add some bouncey hats to give it a bit of syncopation. mabye bring a couple of the bases a little higher?

@reignz such nice work on the bells. awesome sound design and mixdown. I couldn't dream of making something this well thought out. So nice bro. :D

@pixelatique woooow. loved every second. i can't fault this.

@wirez amazing track. loved how it progressed. again so well made. just. wish i could make stuff that good :|

@sniperDUBB i'm not being mean but it seemed a little cheesey.

@chewie wow dude. wow. your shit is amazing. gaaah! as i said to Kaza, stop posting things, they make us look bad :|was fuckin rad dude ;)

@sinisterbeats loved it. so deep. i loooove hearing subs. so good. keys so nice. where can i buy/download?

@paravrais so good again. again, as with most of the stuff posted, wouldn't change a thing.

@nonXero interesting! so sub heavy. liiike. only thing i would change would be that the bass (not the sub) was a bit prominent.

@Krakkemikkig sweet. loved the chopped up bits of the song, tricky work stuff like that and I liked how it wasn't too complicated, but at the same time was glitchy?? if
that makes sense XD

@Nacklewicket downloaded. was sicko. only thing i would say is that it's a tad cliche' but thats it. still liked it.

@therook another very different tune! was cool and the baseline was nice n funky! samples were ill too dude i liked it :

@nnny not such a fan of high pitched screechey kinda things but thats just preference. just not my kinda tune bro sorry :|
