Legend4ry - Point Hill EP [RTE 003] (Deep & Free Release)

Thanks for the constructive crit mate . These tracks date back from mid 08 > early this year. Its just a collection of 4 tracks I really enjoyed writing - not perfect but show my sound well and are not afraid to try new things hehe!

When I approached Rub A Dub about this and they was excited to do the project I looked back at the tracks and thought I could try and improve them , change bits and make it better music but I sort of enjoyed hearing my older ideas again and thought the tracks had charm to them as you can hear my naive nature to making music (as it was quite a while back in the grand scheme of things). It was sort of a selfish decision and maybe not the best in terms of marketing myself but I wanted to stay true to my original ideas and just get them to a listen able state, mix down wise. All in all I am happy with the project hehe

oh i gotya man! yeah theres something really delicate and unique about older tracks, changing them later usually ends up taking away some sort of charm from them

Really nice stuff on this ep, Like the intricate beat structure on beep, and the wicked guitar melody and synth on running shoes. Bringing your own sound into the genre. Deffinately if you feel like sharing some more tunes i'm sure they would be well recieved, but id pay for these tunes if they were out.

been casually listening to this stuff either randomly through shuffle or just to listen to. point hill instantly puts you in a place right when it the first note hits. the high melody bits that come in are great too, at some point the note progression reminds me of music from majoras mask. i still am not too much of a fan of when the drums change up at the 3/4th of the way in... but yeah i commented before, but just wanted to again because point hill puts me in a place everytime i hear it.
