You want freeware, or something you have to pay for? If it's the latter;
http://www.ohmforce.com/ViewProduct.do?p=Ohmicide
Edit
1) 'best' isn't really a good description as different people rate different things as being good. What sort of distortion are you trying to acheive?
2) Your Soundcloud links are wrong

If it's paid, give Ohmicide a try. There is a free to download demo that should give you an idea of the sort of sounds you'd be getting.

For light saturation recently I've been using SonEQ (I don't even touch the eq bits, just the preamp n drive bits). Fuzz Plus 2 is pretty cool. Cyanide 2 is good for more aggressive stuff, but I mostly use the built in Logic ones.
On very rare occasions I record stuff hot through the preamp on this 4 track tape recorder I've got (I'd record to tape hot, but it decided to eat the tape

)

Hmm, just digging through the AUs I've gathered over time here's a few other suggestions:
The freetortion series by Auraplug is alright if you're looking for some guitar/amp style distortion.
Tapehead medium ain't bad.
I sometimes use the valve emulation/valve warmer from sonic birth (which is like a freeware Reaktor, worth checking out).
Oligarc drive from stillwell audio (not free, but comes with unlimited demo and is quite cheap; hell I'm hard pushed to think of a stillwell plug in I don't like).
TAL tube is alright but I usually reach for other distortions first.
Finally Voxengro's tube amp is good.

D16's Redopter is a nice tube emulation distortion vst (paid)
but as previously stated try ohmnicide

Couple things, that sound is made via saturation/effects inside the synth not an outside distortion vst, Everyone should have stopped helping you here.
Haven't heard the sound in a lonnnnnnnnng time, but I'm willing to guess if you play about with a flat filter on your mids + high saturation and some envelopes you'll get there eventually.
A conglomeration of my old tearout tunes I like, and my new ones I don't

You kids overestimate how much of the filth sound is coming from the effects and greatly under-appreciate bottom-line synth theory's. Get your sound right beforeit leaves the synth, and then use the effects to beef things up subtley and add too a wee bit...
Can almost guarantee the bass's in nympho are heavily layered synths though, and the distortion is an afterthought. They're well thought out, even if they are obnoxious. And 'well thought out' plus 'plugin distortion I dont understand the backend of' dont fit in a sentence together.

If it's about filth, try getting into FM-Sounds, nasty stuff is waiting vor you. For plain Distortion try Ampsims for Guitars:Amplitube,Guitarrig...

i've heard great things about the D16 devastor, but i haven't tried it myself so far. using GreaseTube Stereo (free) can be pretty cool imho.
