TBH this really isn't this bad... I'm still a much bigger fan of Breakage's other stuff, but i'd rather have a talented artist like breakage "go mainstream" with success than some shitty artist who makes far worse music.
Absolutely.
rather this than Katy Perry or whatever bullshit you britons listen to
iirc she's the vocalist that's been touring with leftfield for the toni haliday songs. so has he, so to me it sounds like they got together or she heard some bits he was doing while ion tour tbh.
iv'e heard worse. let's face it, there will be 'commercial' dubstep tunes now. any kind of beat/formula that's been around on 'the underground' (whatever that is) will break over into 'mainstream' if it's good.
so long as people do what they want to do, and aren't jealous someone's making more money, or getting hype, then all good, surely.

that tune wasn't produced by Rusko, FYI
Who did? Just out of curiousness/Laziness...

True. Just cos e's a short arse don't mean he'll sell out for heightened recognition. The man is a pro.
First of all, I'm not saying other people shouldn't like it. Outside of the context that we're familiar with, I'd say it would be perceived as a decent song. I don't mind 'mainstream' dubstep; I can't listen to it, but it doesn't bother me that it exists. I just feel that this is one of the most blatant - I don't want to say sell out - but just abandonment of original values, that I have come across thus far. Tell me this track isn't an ABSOLUTE rip of Magnetic Man and you're laughing. Breakage was a bass relic, and now he's literally chucked a Magnetic Man track in a photocopy machine and drawn dicks all over it.
Standard hipster dubstep bullshit argument, but what the fuck else would we use this forum for, otherwise?

bit of a dangerous attitude to have
why? if you enjoy doing it i dont see why you shouldnt feel that way about it, perhaps fame can get to your head but hopefully breakage wont stop making good songs and becoming a superstar who doesnt give a shit anymore
