I like the song. Not too dissimilar to Justified off his last album, imo.

Re: ...The Fuck, Breakage?
Now this is a example of a good, well made track that potentially could of crossed over into the mainstream. Shame Digital Soundboy never pushed it.QuestionableCause wrote:I like the song. Not too dissimilar to Justified off his last album, imo.

Nobodies getting 'pissed off'. It's an internet discussion forum. There's a tendency to over inflate emotions. Regardless, I'm curious as to why you think so; not necessarily denying it.scspkr99 wrote:No, after all I'm registered on a music forum. I'd suggest that getting pissed off with politics/philosophy makes more sense than getting pissed off with art you don't like though.hayze99 wrote: So you're trying to say that conversation about politics/philosophy/science is more important than music (art), because they have a greater impact on our lives?
I just think that all casual discussion with the complete absence of action is basically equal. If you tell someone to stop talking about something intellectual (politics, art, science, etc), then you might as well tell them to stop talking about anything.
AllNightDayDream put a good point up, but I think you are overlooking the community aspect of it. Without names and reputations music would just be a giant amorphous blob - it wouldn't take enough structure or shape to truly develop. That - in essence - is what make's humans humans.

Re: ...The Fuck, Breakage?
Quite a quality production really for a mainstream dance track, the problem is that it doesn't seem to reach a climax or a peak which is a massive error because the groove of the track alone does not carry the track
what is of value and wisdom for one man seems nonsense to another.

Re: ...The Fuck, Breakage?
the beat doesn't go anywhere, but that's forgiveable. it's decent i'd say. the instrumental, that is.
because the lyrics make it sound like some dj tiesto stuff, which is trance and trance is basshunter and basshunter is straight from the wanky shit demon's lair.
no disrespect to the girl singing, she knows what she's doing it's just that she's doing something i find absolutely horrible.
