simple question on logic and reason rewire
quick question if i export my midi from reason and import them to logic can i arrange my drums and fix the pattern in logic?
Re: simple question on logic and reason rewire
are you doing it so you can see everything arranged in logic? And yes you can, but beware of latency. Some of the reason beats will be delayed so you may have to bounce to audio and correct the timing.Mannyyyyy wrote:quick question if i export my midi from reason and import them to logic can i arrange my drums and fix the pattern in logic?
Alternatively, why dont you use the exs24 or ultrabeat with the same samples? and just copy over the midi...

Re: simple question on logic and reason rewire
If youre using redrum youll have to send each hit to a seperate channel
edit: would it not just be easier to export loops of kick,hi hat ect from reason and inport them into logic?

try this: http://audio.tutsplus.com/tutorials/pro ... logic-pro/
didn't really take too much time to read your post (at work), so I'm not sure if this solves your problem or not, but this is a great tip and site in general

Re: simple question on logic and reason rewire
another quick question can i still use post processing effects in reason like the delay. Do i just have to rout the delay the way i want and just add it to the hardware device?
Re: simple question on logic and reason rewire
Ive rewired reason into cubase before and you can use all the reason delays and eqs etc fine. Cubase just hosts it
