well - that's maybe in some states of the US legit...

but in a democratic and ethic state/law death as a 'punishement' shouldn't exist.

I'm one to admit off the bat of my disinterest in politics. Mainly because I am a humanitarian and I think to get involved with politics or even have interest in it, you must have a thicker skin, and be less of a human. So, whenever I hear situations like this, where violence is involved and people are getting hurt, it makes me sad. At the end of the day, someone's missing a family, and the matter often doesn't get resolved. I don't even think there was ever a peaceful revolution that involves a government and it's people. I do pray the violence ceases soon.

I think I'll have to postpone my travel to Egypt and Jordan this summer. :(

It does make my brain hurt when I think of politics. I see it as a cycle that cannot be broken, repetitive, and causes arguments that often leads to nothing/scandals, if not war.

I think in order to get the revolution that you want, a politician has to be there to represent you (how ironic). And hopefully, doesn't fuck you in the ass at the end. Like I said, politics is not my cup of tea so I could be talking out of my ass, and that's pretty much all I can pull out before I get a headache. I'm nowhere near ignorant, never will be an expert, but I know that I will always be with the people, because I am a lazy fighter. :cornlol:. I'm a nurse, for crying out loud.

Sorry, I tend to attract spams, maybe because I speak so broad, a bit out of context, but I think my sentiments for Egypt were clearly there.
Please proceed with Egypt.

the problem i have with this whole "revolution" is that the most powerful opposition is the Muslim Brotherhood... if a revolution were really successful, it's highly likely that they would install the next leader. Their goal is to make the Qu'ran the "sole reference point for ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community and state"

oh, and in before "y u h8 on islam?". i have nothing against islam in particular, i fucking hate all religions equally

This, the US is scared shitless because of the new views on Israel that could be made public.
Also, with the etnic minority of Christians it's not an easy thing. Also I see tourism being impacted!
That's why the army will probably take control.

"Walls made of opinions through which we speak and never listen
Ceiling made of pride vicious and self satisfied
Door thats made of rage hard and slowly aged
Always closing tighter with every war that's waged

Room without a window can't see out
Room without a window can't see out, can't see out

Floor is made of lives wed gladly end to stay inside
Corners made of borders, borders made of law and order
Painted with the words of politicians and religion
Plastered with the wreckage of our cultural division''
