Family Moons & Dubanimals are hosting a their first remix contest featuring MIRAJA's new song "Devotion Infinite". Remixes in any genre welcome. It is free to enter and winners get stuff!

Two winners will each receive one Dubanimals hoodie, one free download code for “Dubanimals Volume 1” and the winning remixes will be professionally mastered and released on the Dubanimals label along with the original, which will be distributed to online record shops around the world.

At the risk of sounding like a downer, be sure and read their terms folks. Nothing overtly shady or anything - actually pretty standard for this kind of contest - but know that they maintain the right to sell your work and not pay you past a hoodie and a free download code for the album, and even that's subject to change.

CONTEST RULES:

1. Download the remix parts to DEVOTION INFINITE Jan 27th - Feb 20th.

2. Remix the track into your chosen style. All genres are welcome.

3. Upload your remix to your Soundcloud account. When uploading, the file must not be downloadable to public. Then join and submit the track to the official Family Moons / Dubanimals remix group for MIRAJA – DEVOTION INFINITE: http://soundcloud.com/groups/miraja-dev ... ix-contest

Be sure to promote your remix to your friends and fans on various social media sites and email lists. This will greatly increase your chance of winning.

4. The submission phase begins on Feb 1st, 2011 at 12.01AM MST and ends March 15th, 2011 at 10.00PM MST.

5. The voting phase ends on March 30th, 2010 at 11.59pm MST.

6. The winners will be divided into 2 categories;5 user voted (based on number of favorites (click the heart on the Soundcloud player) and 5editorial winners (picked by the Family Moons music staff). Among these 10 winning entries, the two favorite winning remixes will be will be professionally mastered and released on the Dubanimals label, which will be distributed online. Each winner will also receive a download code for "Dubanimals Vol 1" and a Dubanimals hoodie.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or exchanges or cash equivalents will be allowed except by sponsor.

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value and approximately similar features for any prize mentioned in these rules due to unavailability.

7. All remixes submitted for this Contest become the legal property of the Family Moons / Dubanimals artist. Winners will be asked to sign an artist release before tracks are sent to mastering department.

8. Upon request any entrant will supply Family Moons / Dubanimals at a least 16 bit, 44.100 khz, WAV quality master file.

9. Neither Family Moons / Dubanimals / MIRAJA accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury or upset caused to or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition or winning the prize. Family Moons / Dubanimals / MIRAJA further accept no liability for any damage caused to any person’s computer or other electronic device relating to or resulting from downloading any materials, including so called computer viruses, in connection with this competition. Nothing shall exclude us from our liability for death or personal injury as a result of our negligence.
