I've spilled half a glass of milk on my laptop keyboard a few years ago. Immediately, I tried to get what I could off it, got a dry cloth and did a pat down.

The keyboard was fucked, the computer itself wasn't harmed in any way.
So i just bought a wireless keyboard and everything went fine from there.

i spilled quite some coffee over my laptop. (+a shitload of sugar)...

it's all easy and cool. just the LED-lights of the keyboards got a bit darker :vader:

Dry it out for a couple of days. If you can get it to turn on first thing you should do is do an immediate backup of your data, as it WILL die sooner or later (I did it with beer and a laptop). Then call your insurance company and make a claim, pay excess and get your laptop upgraded, this is usual covered under home and contents insurance.

Thats how I went from shit PC to nice new macbook pro
