Cubase & windows 7
I'm buying a new desktop or laptop but i can't get cubase's vst's to work on windows 7
Not even the 32 bit versions in the 64 bit cubase.
Whats the best solution since every new pc/laptop has already windows 7 installed ?

Re: Cubase & windows 7
Ok, lets get the unpleasant question out of the way first.........
Is it cracked?
Is it cracked?
Re: Cubase & windows 7
yes it's cracked, i'll be honest.
Just cuz i was trying out different DAW's and i'm gonna, well i want to stick with cubase.
First i got to know if the legal version will give the same errors or not, since i've seen alot of other people saying it doesn't support windows 7

Obviously we're going to say buy the product cause we kinda have too...
I'm pretty sure Steinberg fixed this in a recent update though. Check their bug fixes for the recent patches

Re: Cubase & windows 7
It's out now mate, I've been using it for a couple of weeks and I gotta say it's really good, not a single crash or bug that I have come across yet. The only real problem I have hear of is that the new timestretch fucks up on 48khz projects but I use 44.1khz and the new timestrech is awesome and work perfectly at that sample rate so I don't give a fuck haha.deadly habit wrote:steinberg finally has a cubase demo? thank christ!

Sadly I think there have been issues with people getting a copy in the US, from what I understand the demand has been greater than the supply but no doubt it will be available there soon.
I got 6 but didn't expect it to be useable until at least one update but it's been so reliable so I'm actually quite impressed with Stienberg this time round.

Re: Cubase & windows 7
The stupid thing is that you need a dongle to try the Cubase 5 demo...so if you don't already have one, you still have to pay to try it out.

Re: Cubase & windows 7
hmm, new timestretch. Interesting, nothing else looked worth the upgrade. Shame they FUCKED it up royally in 4 and 5 so its worse (by far) in 5 than SX3
Although im skint, and this isnt really a priority.
