The Illuminatus! Trilogy are some of the funniest books I've ever read. But nevermind bourdon of proof, a legion of poorly educated people with a toddler's grasp of eastern philosophy will happily tell you that they don't need to prove anything to you because rationality, far from being inapplicable to all problems (sensible claim), does not actually apply to any problems (silly claim). amirite?
