tbh I don't know how anyone can listen to Lil Wayne and Jay-Z's early work and say they are shit rappers.

Kanye West and Rick Ross make some of the best sounding music in hip hop.

and I doubt the person who said Giggs is shit has listened to much by him.

I like some of their more recent stuff too, but their older stuff is better, which is why I said I don't know how anyone can listen to that and not at least be impressed.

This. No Ceilings and Blueprint 3 are decent, at the very least.

Also, Waka Flocka actually has serious skill, his musical style just doesn't demand it though. He can whip out double-time grime-style bars when he wants to though:

To me, they all act as radio relief. The best of the worst, in a sense. I can deal with it because I have heard worse, but they just aren't reaching bars that others have set.

Perceptions are going to vary though. Everyone going to have a different idea of where the bar is set.

kanye west is not a sh1t rapper...he's ok at best and has his moments, but his production more than makes up for his weaknesses


neither is rick ross, he's ok at best as well and his flow is what masks the weakness in his lyrics because he doesn't say anything 98% of the time
