Cubase 6!

Steinburg has revealed is new Cubase 6! from reviews and comments it sounds like it has some improvements, (faster work flow, 64 bit support, right click macro assigning).

a huge competitor for logic maybe?

It's already out, I've been using it flat out the last few weeks, and probably spent about 25hrs-30hrs on it in the last 4 days with big complex project, it's completely reliable and a pleasure to use!

Only 2 bugs I know of and one is no big deal and the other only effects projects in 48khz and I'm strictly 44.1k so doesn't bother me at all.

only thing i'm psyched for is more 64 bit support tbh

does anyone know if 6 has a "bounce in place" feature similar to logic? cant find it in the blurb on the website

You can freeze, bounce an audio selection pre fx and sends or you can bounce induvidual tracks (any type,VSTi or audio all with fx and all) straight to a new audio track at the same spot on the timeline if that helps.

In my experience cubase has just been shite to me. The day I got Logic instead was a great day. Bliss infact. Cubase is too awkward and fiddly and it just feels, well, cheap
