In your opinion whos got the strongest sounding drums/beat patterns along with the dynamics and flow.

as far as uniqueness goes i thing the drums whould have to go to reso. for the fatest sounding percs id go with the widdler but im curious to know what all of your opinions are

Percussion is 1/2 of the equation for me, on equal footing with bass imo

I think Shackleton dons it out quite hard on the percussion side of things, especially how he gets that very acoustic, hypnotic element down to a tee. Also have to say Ramadanman, you just have to listen to Blimey to know

I think it pretty hard to argue with Ramadanman's drum patterns. Also thought the percussion throughout Jack Sparrow - Circadian is sublime. And for a less obvious shout, Coleco's drums are SICK!

100%! thats my problem with loads of the "brostep" stuff that was coming out was the percussion was so dry

dont think so. Are you saying this after buying the Aria EP? some nice percussion work on that 1. hopefully he will keep hanging around with icicle and make some 140 with him

Gotta be Burial, Synkro or Joy Orbison for me. Most of Joy's stuff is quite simplistic but really effective
