What program do you guys use to upload a song to YouTube? I just want a static image and song turned into a video...

windows movie maker if your windows and imovie if your mac their basic but get the job done

I only have a Macbook, and it didnt include imovie. Any other suggestions? Possibly free alternatives?

i don't know any free but just do what people do for iwork. torrent or type free imovie in youtube and youll get imovie. I thought every mac includes atleast imovie though

Avid used to have a free program but they now only offer a link to their pinacle suite 14 day trial.

It was freeware so you might find it on the interwebs when your creative.

yeah you can get imovie (and pretty much anything else) off youtube if you type it in. i always forget that when im looking for stuff haha.

sorry for hijacking but i'v question too.

I use too WMM and save in HQ format. But when i upload video to youtube, then sometimes it sounds as my original video and sometimes the sound quality is reduced drastically, and it happens randomly every time i upload:S anybody knows why?

youtube compresses your video and the audio to i think 192kb the most thats if you have a 720 or 1080p hd video but if you have a video that only reaches maybe 480p or 360p the sound would be drastically fucked in the compression giving it the loss of quality. Maybe try a better rendering setting ?

I'v always used the same settings but results are different when i upload. but maybe youtube has changed their algorithm or something. Anyway, have to try, cheers:)

Windows Media Maker goes HD but apparantly not on XP (well you have to fuck about with it)

just upload the video in HD RESOLUTION. (audio needs to be wav)

720p/1,280 x 720 or - 1080p/ 1,920 x 1,080 pixels
