Is it just me or does the first half of album sound a little bit too fast. I mean on the bpm scale? Could it be the less than legit copy?
Other than this minor gripe it sounds bloody marvellous. I really like Lotus Flower and Codex.

Was a little underwhelmed at first, but just on second listen and it's growing on me

Codex is fast working it's way to be one of my favourites.

i think Thom has mentioned that he likes the Joe 12" he might have said it on the Gilles Peterson b2b he did. Bloom seems quite FlyLo influenced as well. Would make sense though as Thom did collaborate with him...

Just look on Dead Air Space for what they've been listening too.

ahh cool, thought there was a bit of a nod, particularly bloom. also i can't remember which track its on, but theres a serious footcrab style breakdown haha.

think they've blended their ideas nicely on this one, got the rhythms down onto a record that they only could do live before (I can imagine Thom really grooving out to these new tracks).

Also this album really carries on where 15 step and videotape left off. which is strange because i know they've said in the past the first and last songs of every album hints to their future sound.

They also said that Kid A (title track) sounded like "a broken down photocopier being hit by wet teabags".
