Dubstep music theory

Im an aspiring Dubstep producer & I was wondering if there was any sort of music theory? Like common chords/progressions, Scales, timing, bpm ect. If yall could help, I would greatly appreciate it

music theory can be applied to all genres man, their ain't no specific rules for dubstep

theirs chord progressions, scales and what not

It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.
