How do people like commercial music?

I thought I was the only one disliking The Beatles. I haven't heard their whole discography but the songs I heard (the most popular ones) are waaayyy cheesy...

People need to stop bashing The Beatles and Bob Dylan, influential beyond what you can imagine indirectly to you but directly to a lot of other music that you may like. So hard to appreciate in these times.

I like the fact that they upped Brian Wilson's game to produce pet sounds. My favourite genre, Krautrock wouldn't exist without them, but I cant stand them and they can gtfo

Im not bashing their legacy or out, but I much prefer some of the bands directly or indirectly influenced by them like the monks, the Beach boys and Can

Just because some other people thought they were good, and probably influenced some bods I liked, doesn't mean I have to think they're any good.

I don't like the Beatles either, I only like a few of their tracks but I would never say they are shit.
