Atmosphere?

Since i'm fairly new to this board i'll introduce myself a bit first ;
I've been producing for like few months now, though i've been away from producing for like 5 months or something
but recently i started producing again
the thing is i used to produce DnB (liquid) and never produced anything else,
so i decided to try something fresh and try to combinate the liquid feeling with the dub feel.

I've made a drum pattern wich i'm fairly happy with,
a synth that i truly love in combination with a heavy sub.
Now here's my question; I don't know what to put in next.. i'm totaly lost,
the track is roling nicely but i can't get any atmosphere in it.. any tips or tricks to do this?
And if so wich kind of synths/effects ?

Maybe a synth pad (low passed super saw pad etc) or some atmospheric loops or something.

One shots with a lot of delay and reverb can also create some nice atmospheres.

I know it sounds really obvious but learn how to use reverb to best effect in different situations. Mastering the art of applying reverb can really transform a sparse track.

incidentals, risers,pads?

try adding some sweep ups/downs yor drum loop so it sweeps down then up then down then up really fills out the background and gives it some extra movement also toss some pads in there at a low level, they dont have to be loud to be head there more of something you dont really notice but it fills out the track and another thing is just reverbed/delayed hits that just trickle off add some nice flavor to fill in thoes holes! hope that was helpful!
