Its been a long time, since I left you...

Post by kujikuru » Thu Feb 24, 2011 2:44 am

Ok ppl, aint been here for a while, but have been working on my production skills...I've gone better and need some feedback on some WIP....

I want to eventually release these as 320s but want them to be finished proper so need to knw if there ready or not...

PS...this ain't wanna of those wobbly, industrial style dub beats..trying something different

Both tunes are sampled and done on Mac OSX using Logic 9, NI Massive, Albino and Reason 4 through ReWire.

loving number one sound! only thing i can suggest is maybe a bigger snare (im not the best with tehnical lingo) but it just seems to be lacking something. rest of the track is mint tho, love the bassline and vocals! the clipped guitar aswell, spot on!

feeling janaan also, errie vocals and atmosphere. like the high pitched tablas or whatever aswell.
fancy sending em over? ;D

the drums on number one sound lack punch and energy and the reverb on the lead of the asian ting really drowned it out bad

well even if its the same pattern over and over, drums can still have energy (zomby-spliff dub). But the patterns themselves in that first track don't move the song
and that first sound that comes in the song in the asian song
