Water Dubstep

Post by dozerrox » Sun Feb 27, 2011 5:25 pm

Hi guys. I'd like a bit of feedback on the mix (specifically the beat, having a bit of trouble with the kick) for this track:
Soundcloud

Any tips would be awesome. Feel like I need to put a lot more perc in this one, but I'm trying to keep the water sounds prominent.

How'd you mean fade them out? Get rid of them after the first drop?

I'll check your track in a few mins, need to grab my headphones B).

Decrease the volume slowly until the first drop.

good idea with the raindrops!
now get rid of that way too heavy beat - smoke a spliff and come down a bit ;)
