also wanted to point this out, didn't see anyone say anything about dmz but you used it in your response twice, weird. there is no line in the sand, if you go to dmz, you will hear all kinds of dubstep of which there are far more facets than just "hard" & "deep". there's a lot more sides to the coin that is dubstep, and a lot of people enjoy multiple styles

sub.wise:.

sunn o))) are a drone band like earth but alot more heavy, pure bass weight at around 2BPM or even slower, 1 review said their as heavy as a van full of cement being pushed off a cliff.
sunn are a type of guitar amp.

sunn o))) live

They play with a stack bigger than Valve (dillinja) or jah shaka / iration steppa's. A few gigs have had to close early due to health & safety cause the bass has actually shook the building so much parts of the roof have come down.

thats the rig for 1 mexican show.
When i saw them twice in birmingham @ capsule's Supersonic festival the rig they had was bigger & deffo more bass.
as it says on that image you linked "sunn focus on low & sub bass tones with intention of a heavy physical pressence" "using frequency at 80hz 110-120hz 180-220hz"
Now everytime i heard valve the bass was nothing as deep as a sunn gig.

trolley snatcha is pretty consistent, deff one of my favourite tearout producers, most of been mentioned but i'd reccomend pass me by, (getting smashed by everyone of late) the future, scattah, circle k, we rock the forest etc, expecting big things from him on dub police in the future

you might want to check out
chasing shadows
emalkay
flux pavilion
funtcase
cookie monsta
coki
distance
eddie k
excision
datsik
liquid stranger
downlink
although this sound gets boring quick...
IMO I don't see how anyone can relate Coki and Distance to any of these producers tbh, they are in a totally different league. Fuck the brostep it hurts my ears

What is the fuckin point in bringing Sun O))) on a dsf argument ?
If you like harder stuff try Vex'd or Broken Note. Brogore is already done for, just like that pack of joke producers claiming they have dirty bass and getting wet on high pitched synths.
And yes, I think all those people using the dmz argument on here just don't get the concept of bass, simple as.

This. Vex'd got some really nice stuff. Distance too, as have been said before here!
