Company logo help please

To be honest I'm not sure it works well as a logo, for those who don't know what Facebook is.

Problem is, because we all know what Facebook is - we've lost some of the ability to determine whether or not it's an effective logo.

Facebook has come to be recognised as a big, successful company and brand - but that's the BRAND - not the logo.

The BRAND, being how we all FEEL about Facebook - how Facebook's audience relates, thinks and feels about Facebook.

If you try and imagine that logo on a startup company's site - you'd probably not look at it twice in passing. It's just a slighltly altered version of klavika really.

Then again some might say it's brilliant - simple, understated, not getting in the way of the site, and fairly innofensive for a logo that's seen by millions every day.

So, it's been probably a month now and I should have finished but I have been putting it off (thank god) because I get a call and the people they were going through scammed them out of $100,000 (don't know how that happened) so I will probably not have to worry bout it now....
