nearly finished degree, need to find a job, cooking seems a good choice

All you need is the food hygene certificate and be willing to work in a gruelling environment for long unsocaible hours and be treated like a tnuc.

Unless your already trained expect to peel a lot of potatoes.

Just don't.
I'm fairly happy in the kitchen I work at but that's only because the staff I work with are so great.
Worked in a lot of other places with shit people/pay/hours/general times.

yeah, what sort of course/diploma do i have to do to become a trained expert?
i (rather cockily) consider myself a bit of an expert anyway :6:

I dunno, lots of my non acedemic stoner mates did cooking or whatever its called at college.

I'm sure there are various gnvq's etc that you could do easily.

The only actual requirement is the food and hygene thing which costs 30 quid and you do online.

I think it's pretty easy to get a job as a chef right? All restaurants are in a competition with one n other.
I'd check with every seafood place in the area.

It's the same as absolutely anything. You're going to have to start at the bottom, and invest a fuck ton of time working your way to the top.
