Caspa comes to the Arches to do some serious damage to the bass bins for the launch of new dubstep night Innuendo.

The West London producer is one of the key names in bringing the formerly underground genre of dubstep into the limelight. In 2003 his track Bass Bins(made under his Quiet Storm pseudonym) was picked up by Radio 1Xtra, and, with the launch of his own record label Storming Productions, the hype began to snowball, with releases such as Rubber Chicken (on Tempa) becoming underground anthems. By 2007, as well as running two more record labels (Dub Police and Sub Soldiers), he'd been approached to do a Fabriclive mix with Rusko - it was effectively one of the first commercially available, artistically credible dubstep compilations.

Alongside anthemic remixes of tracks such as TC's Where's My Money and Ludacris' How Low Can You Go, pausing to add a hefty thwack of low, low bass to Swedish House Mafia's One and I Remember by Deadmau5 and Kaskade, Caspa continued to unite the commercial and the credible to overwhelming effect, with a bi-monthly residency at Fabric and a staggeringly beautiful debut album in 2009, Everybody's Talking, Nobody's Listening.

Now, with bass, sub-bass and wobble bass now threatening to overwhelm the nation at every turn, tracks such as Caspa's latest Dub Police release Neck Snappah still stand out against the dross as dubstep at its finest. Come and see him battle the Arches' Funktion One soundsystem...
