put down the pipes, and do something to stop global warming. stop living your life in fear of fucking everything. if the tinfoil crew told you haarp created santa claus, some of you would
be out shooting reindeer, and blogging about it.

meanwhile some more bodies just washed up on a beach in japan. my heart goes out to all affected by this.

(speaking only of the earthquake not the tsunami)

Not to make ill of the dead but this was amazing. That strong of an earthquake with out hordes dead from the earthquake itself is nothing short of remarkable.

It's great to see with technological advancements and standards that something that would have killed tens of thousands 30 years ago, is at almost a minimal state.

Those tsunami pics are insane. Still in wonder of the power of water. So unforgiving.

yeah just now seeing this on CNN. Bigger problem is they've taken the plant offline and can't cool the core apparently because it was damaged.

They say not likely anything will happen but still crazy

I saw some of the coverage of this at a mate's earlier. Awful stuff.

The clean up and rebuilding are going to take years. Thoughts are with the Japanese.

apparently the projections of the tsunami heading to south america could potentially be more deadly than the portion in Japan given the building standards in south america. Hopefully the advanced warning saves a lot of lives, and hopefully the tsunami dies down a bit before it gets there.

Exactly this. Thousands more would be dead without decent engineering and building codes. Out to everyone affected, looks like some atrocious shit.
