Hi, maybe a simple question but, im terrified of my computer crashing and loosing all of my projects. Is there a way to backup project files so that I could save them on an external HDD so that if at the very least I would have some of my more core projects to go back to if i were to loose my current work.
thanks,

Firstly, this is the wrong section - it should be in production which is here : http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewforum.php?f=8
Secondly : Yes, you can back up your projects, aslong as your samples are saved and vsts are re-installed you won't have any problems...
best advice to is to save everying as a Zipped Loop Package (File > Export > Zipped Loop Package) and what this will do is save all the samples you used in the track and your project file in a .zip - burn those to a dvd/put on an external and then you'll be able to just relaunch the project any time you wish (even without extracting).
