i've made 'kilju' a couple of times in my youth. it's really simple. there are several varieties and recepies for kilju but here's one if ya'll wanna make some
10 liters (17,6 pints) of water
same amount of OJ
6 kilograms (13,2) lbs of sugar
and of course a fermenting barrel.
put the orange juice in the freezer. warm the water up to 30 degrees celsius or 86 fahrenheit. add sugar and the frozen orange juice. wait for about two weeks, the fermenting barrel's air lock will bubble with 15 sec intervals, that's when it's ready to drink! it's about 12 % so be careful
