First Dupstep Tune

Post by psychonaught » Sun Apr 22, 2007 5:37 pm

I think i posted this in the wrong section before:

Ive only just recently started using FL. Im 16 and just discovering dubstep, but its really grown on me and moved me away from my old love for gabba and breakcore. Would be great to get some constructive feed back and hear what peeps think of this tune.

the tune is bumbaclot dubstep
cheers in advance

I enjoyed that. Hmmm. Constructive crit. Um, it could do with some space in there. Maybe some reverb in there to add a bit of depth. It's all very dry. The vocal that's cut off at the end it a bit annoying. I'd mess with the envelope a little and add some delay/verb to soften it a bit and bring it down in the mix.

I like the bass in the later part of the song - At 2:40ish It sounds like a mean robot laughing as it hides my mini cheddars on my birthday. It's quite mechanically nightmarish.

But, I like this track for that second bass part alone. It's got a good vibe to it.
