@DurtyD - You need some more layers... I can see what you're trying to do.
Next step would be to work on a build up to the drop. Add a few more bass levels inc a sub and blend the bass line using seperate envelopes on each layer to give them body as a whole. Solo the beat and get it feeling big on its own. You could give it your own touch by freestyling some keys on a synth like massive and listen to Nero/Flux Pavillion for inspiration on what to aim for on the trancy dubstep side of things....

@urbanned62 first track simplicity is amazing
awesome awesome awesome
@sprayyypaint your drums are too low you can barely hear them but sick idea on the track burr
@DurtyD you need to get a bigger bassline since you can barely hear the one you have maybe add another layer like suggested
. awesome vocals though
now for my track i took feedback in a mixed down my tack a swell a little better to come up with this *note this is my first track in logic which would be my 2nd track i ever made so give me constructive criticism so i can get better guys

manny. like the drums, im a sucker for drums thats what i work on the most. the transformers sound is outplayed. everyone and there youtube brethern are using it. im at the build. oh lawd. very nice. synth goes great. for being your damn second track you made mine look like i was rubbing two sticks together to make my beats. second drop could be a hammer man, overall really good.
durty. instantly made me think of mt eden lol. i mean you got the fundamentals down. need the actual boost on everything. it sounds solo ha get it.
Soundcloud
was the entry for the battle royale number 2. i knew i rushed it but i was on a time schedule. still kinda happy. considering how long it took lol. almost made it out the first round

Mannyyyyy - put some more kick in your drop... putting more kicks in to go with your wobble makes it have more punch
DurtyD - your snare needs more reverb imo, to match up with all the other reverb going on.. some other percussive elements would be nice too
urbannerd62 - lovin the drop, definitely a dancefloor smasher
And now for my newest WIP...

kingghost damn i love the vibe. serious battle cry. feel like you can take on 100 guys to this. the bass sits so nice. bring up the snare just a little.

@Krispies
that song is dope. just work with the drums a bit more, but only if you want a dance floor heater. otherwise, just keep it goin the way it is.

@Danimal thanks for the feedback man yeah I'm planning on working on the drums first when I get the time to work on it more before I continue with any more sections in the song that was just the first snare I kinda threw together

kingGhost
loving the intro, nice lows. the hihat rhythm in the drop is interesting as well. some sort of vocals, even if really minimal would be nice.
Mannyyyyy
solid drums. the lazer in the intro is sick. I feel like the mid range synths could be alittle louder in the mix.
DurtyD
good sounds and such, but feels a little bare. Maybe that's what you were going for but just my opinion
This is the first time I've ever posted anything here, so cut me some slack! haha, anyway, been working on this for awhile, thought I'd post it and see what you guys think.
thanks!!

@Pony_Boy I'd like to be the first to congratulate you on your tune "pill-dub". Sick tune and your arrangement skills are something else....Can't fault it.
Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Pony_Boy- great tune man I'd say it's ready for the dubs section.
kingGhost-great subs man. really digging the atmosphere real spacey with the reverb. imo the drum pattern could use just a little tweaking.
oprs- Is that sax? I'm a sucker for that because I used to play. I would like to hear that just a bit more maybe later in the piece. the sub is fantastic, you've got good things going on.
Mannyyyyy- everything everyone said and more great stuff. I'm a sucker for these types of track when they are produced well, and this one is well produced.
I know this is confusing but I was producing under coreygoesrawr as a temporary name, unfortunately it lasted a longer than intended. Hopefully this new chapter is for the better.
Big thanks to debaser for his advice and kind words a few pages back here is a rework of the track.

iorek- sure is a sax. still working out the kinks on it to haha but to the song. it sounds alot better. the changes up at like 1:20 throw you off a little bit. its all nice and jingly. pretty different but in a good way

oprs- Well I like it think it's pretty sweet. Thanks man, I'm still working on making it flow better around 1:20 hopefully it will turn out.

Boring - I like the concept a lot - I used to listen to the DnB equivalent of this track all the time, but (if you are even at this point yet) the mix is some ways off. This is especially true on a spatial level. The sounds are too big compared to the placement of your drums so it kind of throws the listener off. Easy to fix though, if you wanted to.
Iorek - Something is wrong with the tune... It just doesn't sound right to me. Might be because it's quiet, but for some reason it sounds like it has no mid-range. Might just be me though. I like the musical elements enough though. And the progression is fun, if not my style.
Pony-Boy - Solid, needs just a tiny bit of work to be 100% sick. Great job!
Mannyyyyy - Nailing the concept. Loving the idea... keep it up. The mix seems odd though, the kick and the bass seem disjointed. Like they don't belong together. I don't really know how I'd fix that though, so I'm no help on this one. p.s.: you sound like Nero - no bad at all, I'm jealous... I've never managed to make anything even close to that sound.
Now for mine... this is a WIP for a remix I got asked to do. It's rap/dubstep, so bear in mind if you hate rap you'll probably hate this, but hey let me know what you think anyway. Otherwise, this is a 95% finished product, and I'd appreciate any criticism you'd like to give.

@Craggy
I dig it. Frequency split your synth and remove (i'd prefer that you eq down) your high end so that the fuzz is less noticeable. I think it adds some good dynamics to the track but right now its overpowering. otherwise I really like the feel of your track man. Sick.
@Ascent
The end works fine, if you had a breakdown! Your song almost feels like a running song
but, try a vocal stretch and chop drum breakdown for variation? pick up the pace of the hats a little and then work it out and bring it down. I am picturing the deep exhales after a run, as your track fades out haha. Bless this hash.
@Trog
I feel we are somewhere near the same place. You need some accent for what you've got going on. You've got lots of movement the sounds could have more width and dynamics but you need to now sculpt around the frequencies you have with some "warmer" basses and focus on the ambiance of the track. I love the in your face style though. Keep with that.
@lightshapers
So I'm working on this track with a buddy. I'm not planning to progress it much more length wise right now without him, but as I instructed Trog to do
I need to build up this track. Right now its bare with drums subs synth and resampled bass. I just reworked the snare. Its better than before, well before is in the intro and the new snare is after. So listen yourself. Do i need a punchier kick layer? Soundcloud
